EXT. BACK YARD - KEY WEST - EVENING
Daniel walks toward his father. Erica lingers behind. Jack stands facing away from Daniel tying a small fly lure.
A collegiate football game CRACKLES over a nearby radio hanging on a hook in the garage.

DANIEL
(nervously)
Hello Dad! Jack turns around slowly.

JACK
(disbelief)
Daniel? What are you doing here?

DANIEL
Hi dad. It's been a while.

Jack glances up to see Erica standing on the back porch.

JACK
(curiously)
What's going on Daniel? Are you ok?

About The Writer

Due to the nature of movie making, the Betrayal Of A Nation screenplay is somewhat modified from the original manuscript with added and deleted scenes. This is done out of necessity, and should make the film more enjoyable for the viewer. While this very brief overview outlines the project as we envision it, a studio and director would ultimately make all final decisions.

This film is projected to be a feature length big budget film. The running time is approximately 120 minutes, with remote filming locations likely required. The film opens in the North Atlantic on a large oilrig, while many scenes could be done with CGI effects, some scenes such as this may benefit from actual or stock footage. With much of the action-taking place on Kayak Island off the coast of Alaska, a director may want to add realism and depth to the project with remote shoots such as this.

The script has not been written with any particular casting in mind, though the lead character may want to be cast with two strong supporting characters to properly support the storyline. When produced, this film would take moviegoers on a tense ride into extreme environments, dangerous situations and peril within Alaskan skies.

As the film reaches a climax within a secret black operations base off the coast of Alaska, international tensions, personal failings and extreme danger pressure our characters into situations they could not imagine. As the audience Betrayal Of A Nation screenplaywatches the plot unfold, the viewers are kept guessing as the storyline does not reveal the actual perpetrator of espionage until the end of the film.
